More than a

we're career builders
ABOUT HARD HAT
Hard Hat Recruitment Agency was founded to connect construction companies with the right people - quickly, reliably and with integrity. We're passionate about helping people get back on the tools, start apprenticeships, or make their first steps into the trades.
We're especially proud to support young people and career changers working towards NVQs, diplomas and site experience through colleges and training schemes.

We build for people
WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
Hard Hat Recruitment was founded by Robert and Andrew, two friends who've spent their careers on the front lines of the construction industry. From site labour to site leadership, they've seen the realities of the trade, the good, the bad and the deeply rewarding.
They started this agency not from a boardroom, but from muddy boots and late shifts with a clear belief:
THE INDUSTRY DESERVES A RECRUITMENT PARTNER THAT TRULY UNDERSTANDS IT FROM THE GROUND UP.
Too often they'd watch talented workers get overlooked because they lacked the right paperwork or the right background. They'd seen clients frustrated by agencies that didn't speak the language of the scaffolder or understands the complex needs of those responsible for running a site safely. They knew it could be done better.
So, they build Hard Hat Recruitment with an aim to:
- Respect the craft and graft of construction workers
- Serve companies with urgency, honest and consistency
- Open doors and empower those who just need a fair shot.
Whether someone's just starting out, switching careers or trying to turn their life around, Robert and Andrew believe in the power of meaningful work; the kind that builds self worth, not just structures. They are proud to work with a host of different bodies such as colleges and training providers and forward thinking employers who really care about their staff.
"We're not here to tick boxes. We're here to build futures; for the people holding the tools and the companies putting everything on the line to lead the projects."
- Robert and Andrew
